My username is a made up word, formed by combining the Greek words exaro ("to dig"), biblia ("to read", "books", "library"), and ologist ("person", "one who"). Put it all together, and I am "one who digs good books", or an exarobibliologist.
I am normal person with opinions and feelings, just like everyone else. More specifically, I am an INTJ, with an IQ around 180. I figure I'll never be remembered for doing anything impressively special in life, but I hope to inspire other people, and to be remembered for all the small things I've helped in.
I like vividness of subject in both images and literature.
I'm a nerd. I revel in being a nerd. I'm not affected by teasing and mockery about being a nerd. Being comfortable with your stereotype gives you a great deal of power, and as a result I tend to give more sensitive nerds an inferiority complex.
I love gaming, especially the tabletop RPG variety! My favorite tabletop games are Mythic (and the new Mythic Cards game), Numenara, FATE, and GURPS. I designed my own roleplaying game system! My RPG system is called EPIC. It's been released in multiple versions already (a single-page character sheet with all the rules on one page, and also with a rulebook and separate character sheet). I've had good reviews from Johnn Four about my game system.
I have designed several other mini-RPG games, with differing mechanics (some based with cards, some with dice, one using paper-rock-scissors).
I have designed several RPG printables and GM materials for Mythic, and Star Wars: Saga Edition.
I'm a love reading books! Although I respect the continuity of trilogies, and read them in order without skipping ahead, it's not unusual to find me reading 5-6 books at any given time. I have about 4500 books in my personal library, with more being downloaded or added on a weekly basis!
I'm a Debian Linux nerd! I'm usually tweaking something on my computer, or shell scripting.
I am addicted to coffee and hot chocolate. I hate weak coffee, and I have no idea why people drink decaf!
I was a MN@ for about a year and a half and I enjoyed every minute of it! Volunteering for deviantART is a wonderful experience and I encourage everyone to try it.
I only take critiques well when it's coming from someone who wants to help me improve. I don't respect criticism from people who give an art critique that also includes comments about my parenting, my mother, or other incendiary subjects that have nothing to do with actual topic of critique. I don't mind getting a negative critique; but when you critique me please do it to help me improve. Don't just bash...
I suggest Daily Deviations whenever I find stunning artwork. Several of my suggestions have been accepted.
I love the new Fragments system on deviantART and like to give subscriptions whenever I have enough Fragments to!
I am fiercely loyal to all of my friends, and I always stand up for my friends and what I believe in. I like helping people unreservedly. If you ever need any help, just send me a note and I'll be glad to assist you as much as I can.
I like to give away everything I earn! I use donations to make other deviants happy, give memberships, llamas, cake, and other goodies.
